Design & Style

Velorell joins the Timberustic collection with a bold composition of sweeping folds that radiate from the upper-left area toward the lower and right edges. The raised forms overlap in a fan-like arrangement, creating alternating ridges and shadowed channels across the rectangular door leaf. A broad, quieter panel on the right provides visual balance and leaves the dimensional work as the central focus.

The asymmetrical layout gives the door a strong sense of motion without obscuring its practical rectangular format. Grain patterns travel across the curved contours and flatter sections, adding another layer of movement to the sculpted face.

Material & Craftsmanship

The surface presents pronounced grain throughout, from the deep channels on the left to the sweeping raised bands and the more restrained right-hand panel. Changes in contour bring out tonal variation in the grain as light moves across the door, while softened ridge profiles give the dimensional design a continuous flow.

Each Velorell Door is handcrafted and made to order by Timberustic. Custom sizing allows the proportions of the rectangular leaf and radiating composition to be adapted for an intended doorway while preserving the design’s visual rhythm.

Function & Features

• Single-leaf rectangular format suited to a conventional doorway arrangement.
• Raised sculpted folds create depth, shadow, and a changing appearance from different viewing angles.
• Broad recessed panel offers a quieter counterpoint to the radiating contours.
• Defined perimeter edges keep the expressive surface contained within a clean architectural outline.

Velorell brings functional passage and dimensional surface design together in one focused form.

Usage & Placement

Consider Velorell for a main residential entrance where its sweeping relief can establish the character of the foyer, or use it as an interior feature door leading to a private study, gallery-like corridor, or principal living space. Its scale and directional composition work especially well where the full face can be viewed from several steps away.

Pair the door with restrained stone, plaster, or concrete surroundings to emphasize its grain and shadow lines. Minimal furnishings and simple adjacent surfaces allow the layered contours to remain visually clear rather than competing with busy architectural details.

🌿 Where to Place It

• For indoor use: Set your furniture on a flat, dry floor away from direct sunlight, heaters, or overly humid spots. Use blinds or curtains to gently filter light and preserve the natural finish.
• For outdoor use: Position pieces on solid, well-drained surfaces like patios or wooden decks. Avoid placing them directly on soil, and always use a furniture cover when not in use to protect from rain and moisture.

🧼 How to Keep It Clean

• Wipe with a soft cloth on a regular basis — dry or lightly damp is best.
• Skip the harsh stuff: no bleach, ammonia, or abrasive sprays. They can damage the protective layer and even the wood underneath.

💪 Use with Care

• Respect the load limits for each item — overloading may weaken the structure or shorten its lifespan.
• When moving your furniture, lift rather than slide to prevent scratches or stress on the joints.

🌬️ Guarding Against Moisture & Mildew

• Wipe away spills quickly to prevent water from seeping into the wood.
• If you're in a humid area, a small dehumidifier can help prevent mold and mildew buildup over time.
