Design & Style

Ororien brings a tree-inspired structure to Timberustic’s handcrafted collection. A three-dimensional trunk rises from a flared, root-like foot on the left, dividing into branches that extend beneath the broad desktop. One long branch reaches toward the opposite side, creating a visual bridge between the open support and the drawer pedestal.

The composition is intentionally asymmetrical: the branching base carries the expressive side of the design, while the four-drawer unit gives the other side a grounded architectural weight. A gently irregular front edge softens the long horizontal top and follows the movement established by the branching form below.

Material & Craftsmanship

Flowing grain is visible across the desktop, drawer fronts, branch-shaped support, and outer pedestal surfaces. The grain direction changes with each component, accentuating the contrast between the expansive top, vertically arranged storage, and sweeping support structure.

Handcrafted and made to order, Ororien can be custom-sized for its intended workspace. Rounded transitions along the sculpted trunk and branches give the base a continuous three-dimensional presence, while the top retains a broad, practical profile suited to daily use.

Function & Features

• Four stacked drawers organize stationery, documents, and compact office essentials.
• Dark curved pulls provide a clear grip while maintaining the flowing drawer-front composition.
• The broad desktop accommodates writing, computer work, reading, or creative projects.
• The asymmetrical base preserves open legroom between the branching support and drawer pedestal.

The integrated storage keeps frequently used items close without adding a separate drawer unit.

Usage & Placement

Use Ororien as the central desk in a dedicated home office, a writing desk in a study, or a creative workstation in a studio. Its branching base is best displayed where the left side remains visible rather than being closely enclosed by surrounding furniture.

Position it near a window for natural working light, or allow it to anchor an open office wall. Restrained desk accessories and a low-profile task lamp can preserve clear sightlines across the grain-rich top and sculpted support.

🌿 Where to Place It

• For indoor use: Set your furniture on a flat, dry floor away from direct sunlight, heaters, or overly humid spots. Use blinds or curtains to gently filter light and preserve the natural finish.
• For outdoor use: Position pieces on solid, well-drained surfaces like patios or wooden decks. Avoid placing them directly on soil, and always use a furniture cover when not in use to protect from rain and moisture.

🧼 How to Keep It Clean

• Wipe with a soft cloth on a regular basis — dry or lightly damp is best.
• Skip the harsh stuff: no bleach, ammonia, or abrasive sprays. They can damage the protective layer and even the wood underneath.

💪 Use with Care

• Respect the load limits for each item — overloading may weaken the structure or shorten its lifespan.
• When moving your furniture, lift rather than slide to prevent scratches or stress on the joints.

🌬️ Guarding Against Moisture & Mildew

• Wipe away spills quickly to prevent water from seeping into the wood.
• If you're in a humid area, a small dehumidifier can help prevent mold and mildew buildup over time.
