Design & Style

Noririen brings a fluid, architectural silhouette to Timberustic’s handcrafted collection. Its round tabletop forms a broad, grounded plane, balanced by a deeply shaped pedestal that curves inward around a large circular opening. Sweeping supports cross beneath the top, creating changing lines and areas of negative space from different viewpoints.

The tabletop has a substantial edge profile with a gently varied perimeter rather than a sharply geometric outline. Below, the pedestal’s rounded mass and open center give the table a strong visual presence without making the base appear completely closed or block-like.

Material & Craftsmanship

Expressive wood-grain patterns travel across the tabletop in broad waves, with contrasting bands and irregular tonal movement continuing onto the pedestal. The thick top edge makes the grain visible from both seated and standing viewpoints, while the shaped base places the material pattern across convex curves, recessed areas and intersecting supports.

Each Noririen Dining Table is handcrafted and made to order by Timberustic. Custom sizing allows the round format and pedestal proportions to be adapted for the intended dining area while preserving the defining open-center composition.

Function & Features

• Round dining surface supports an inclusive, centered seating arrangement.
• Sculpted pedestal keeps the space beneath the top visually open.
• Large circular opening reduces the visual weight of the substantial base.
• Central base design leaves the outer perimeter free from corner legs.

The balanced form is suited to everyday meals as well as shared gatherings.

Usage & Placement

Noririen is well suited to a dedicated dining room, an open-plan dining area or a spacious breakfast setting where its base can remain visible. Center it beneath a rounded pendant or a compact cluster of lights to echo the tabletop geometry without obscuring the grain.

Pair it with streamlined upholstered chairs to contrast the pedestal’s flowing curves, or choose simple wood seating for a more material-focused arrangement. Allowing open floor space around the table will make its circular opening and crossing supports easier to appreciate from multiple directions.

🌿 Where to Place It

• For indoor use: Set your furniture on a flat, dry floor away from direct sunlight, heaters, or overly humid spots. Use blinds or curtains to gently filter light and preserve the natural finish.
• For outdoor use: Position pieces on solid, well-drained surfaces like patios or wooden decks. Avoid placing them directly on soil, and always use a furniture cover when not in use to protect from rain and moisture.

🧼 How to Keep It Clean

• Wipe with a soft cloth on a regular basis — dry or lightly damp is best.
• Skip the harsh stuff: no bleach, ammonia, or abrasive sprays. They can damage the protective layer and even the wood underneath.

💪 Use with Care

• Respect the load limits for each item — overloading may weaken the structure or shorten its lifespan.
• When moving your furniture, lift rather than slide to prevent scratches or stress on the joints.

🌬️ Guarding Against Moisture & Mildew

• Wipe away spills quickly to prevent water from seeping into the wood.
• If you're in a humid area, a small dehumidifier can help prevent mold and mildew buildup over time.
