Design & Style

Noravella joins Timberustic’s collection with a broad, irregular-edged desktop set above two dramatically formed supports. Each base divides into branch-like uprights and flared root-shaped feet, while a curved central support visually connects the two sides beneath the work surface. The open center maintains generous visual space around the seating position.

Two suspended drawer banks balance the composition without creating a conventional pedestal-desk silhouette. Their rectilinear fronts contrast with the flowing supports and uneven desktop contour, giving the design a grounded architectural presence.

Material & Craftsmanship

Strong grain lines and varied tonal markings travel across the desktop, drawer fronts and supporting forms. The top has a slab-like profile with an uneven outer edge, while the bases display pronounced three-dimensional shaping through their branching transitions and extended feet.

Noravella is handcrafted and made to order by Timberustic. Custom sizing is available, allowing the desk to be planned for a particular office, study or creative workspace while retaining its defining branch-base composition and integrated storage layout.

Function & Features

• Broad work surface suited to writing, a laptop and everyday desk accessories
• Four visible drawers arranged in two suspended storage banks
• Open central seating area between the drawer units
• Freestanding design with two sculpted branch-like bases
• Drawer pulls provide a clear grip point for access

The divided storage layout keeps frequently used supplies close to either side of the workspace.

Usage & Placement

Place Noravella in a dedicated home office where its branching bases can remain visible from the front and sides. It can also anchor a bright study, library corner or creative studio, with the wide top providing a practical surface for focused work.

For styling, pair the desk with a simply upholstered chair to keep attention on the grain and shaped supports. A restrained desk pad, task lamp and a small group of objects can define the working area without obscuring the desktop’s irregular outline.

🌿 Where to Place It

• For indoor use: Set your furniture on a flat, dry floor away from direct sunlight, heaters, or overly humid spots. Use blinds or curtains to gently filter light and preserve the natural finish.
• For outdoor use: Position pieces on solid, well-drained surfaces like patios or wooden decks. Avoid placing them directly on soil, and always use a furniture cover when not in use to protect from rain and moisture.

🧼 How to Keep It Clean

• Wipe with a soft cloth on a regular basis — dry or lightly damp is best.
• Skip the harsh stuff: no bleach, ammonia, or abrasive sprays. They can damage the protective layer and even the wood underneath.

💪 Use with Care

• Respect the load limits for each item — overloading may weaken the structure or shorten its lifespan.
• When moving your furniture, lift rather than slide to prevent scratches or stress on the joints.

🌬️ Guarding Against Moisture & Mildew

• Wipe away spills quickly to prevent water from seeping into the wood.
• If you're in a humid area, a small dehumidifier can help prevent mold and mildew buildup over time.
