Design & Style

Caelvane joins the Timberustic collection with a broad rectangular top carried by an expressive, sculpted branch base. Instead of conventional straight legs, sweeping supports travel beneath the tabletop and divide into angled, trunk-like forms. Large open cutouts appear at both ends, giving the substantial structure a lighter visual rhythm.

The base is deliberately asymmetrical. Curves widen near the floor, narrow through the open sections and rise toward the underside of the top, creating different silhouettes from each viewing angle. A softly irregular tabletop perimeter complements these shaped supports without competing with their three-dimensional presence.

Material & Craftsmanship

Pronounced wood grain is visible across both the expansive top and the branching base. Long linear markings emphasize the tabletop’s length, while tighter grain patterns follow the bends, junctions and tapered sections below. Tonal variation further defines the transitions between broad surfaces and deeply shaped openings.

Each Caelvane Dining Table is handcrafted and made to order by Timberustic. Custom sizing allows the overall proportions to be tailored for the intended dining area while retaining the defining relationship between the substantial top, branching supports and open negative spaces.

Function & Features

• Broad dining surface suited to shared meals, serving pieces and table settings.
• Sculpted supports extend beneath the top in an interconnected branching arrangement.
• Open base sections reduce visual bulk and keep the grain visible through the structure.
• Made-to-order construction supports custom sizing for different dining layouts.

Caelvane brings functional dining space together with an unconventional architectural base.

Usage & Placement

Caelvane is suited to a dedicated dining room, an open-plan dining area or a spacious kitchen setting where its base can be viewed from several directions. Allowing open floor space around the table helps preserve the visibility of its low sweeping curves and end cutouts.

Pair it with restrained dining chairs that leave the base exposed rather than concealed. A simple linear pendant or broad overhead fixture can echo the length of the top, while neutral textiles and understated tableware keep attention on the grain and branching geometry.

🌿 Where to Place It

• For indoor use: Set your furniture on a flat, dry floor away from direct sunlight, heaters, or overly humid spots. Use blinds or curtains to gently filter light and preserve the natural finish.
• For outdoor use: Position pieces on solid, well-drained surfaces like patios or wooden decks. Avoid placing them directly on soil, and always use a furniture cover when not in use to protect from rain and moisture.

🧼 How to Keep It Clean

• Wipe with a soft cloth on a regular basis — dry or lightly damp is best.
• Skip the harsh stuff: no bleach, ammonia, or abrasive sprays. They can damage the protective layer and even the wood underneath.

💪 Use with Care

• Respect the load limits for each item — overloading may weaken the structure or shorten its lifespan.
• When moving your furniture, lift rather than slide to prevent scratches or stress on the joints.

🌬️ Guarding Against Moisture & Mildew

• Wipe away spills quickly to prevent water from seeping into the wood.
• If you're in a humid area, a small dehumidifier can help prevent mold and mildew buildup over time.
