Design & Style

Aelivane, part of Timberustic’s collection, is defined by a long horizontal top balanced on two substantial sculpted bases. The tabletop follows a rectangular plan while softened corners, a gently curved perimeter, and a rounded lower edge give the profile a calm, continuous flow.

Each base contains a large asymmetrical arch opening framed by thick, shaped supports. These negative spaces reduce the visual weight of the structure and create changing views through the table from different positions in the room. The contrast between the broad top and open bases gives Aelivane a grounded yet visually spacious presence.

Material & Craftsmanship

Prominent wood grain travels lengthwise across the tabletop, with darker and lighter lines emphasizing its extended proportions. Grain variation also appears across the bases, drawing attention to their curved outer profiles and deep interior cutouts. The smooth contours allow these surface patterns to remain central to the design.

Aelivane is handcrafted and made to order by Timberustic. Custom sizing is available, allowing its overall proportions to be tailored for the intended dining area while retaining the defining long top and twin arch-base composition.

Function & Features

• Broad tabletop provides a practical surface for dining, serving pieces, and table décor.
• Two separated bases support the long composition without a continuous central panel.
• Large arch cutouts preserve open sightlines beneath the tabletop.
• Rounded corners and curved lower edges soften the table’s substantial silhouette.

The balanced layout accommodates seating along both long sides while keeping the base design visible.

Usage & Placement

Aelivane is suited to a dedicated dining room or an open-plan dining area where its elongated form can be viewed from several angles. Allowing open space around the ends helps showcase the tabletop’s softened outline and the changing negative space within each base.

Pair it with dining chairs that have restrained profiles so the sculpted supports remain visible. A linear or wide pendant can reinforce the table’s horizontal scale, while simple ceramics, woven textiles, or low arrangements keep attention on the flowing grain and architectural base geometry.

🌿 Where to Place It

• For indoor use: Set your furniture on a flat, dry floor away from direct sunlight, heaters, or overly humid spots. Use blinds or curtains to gently filter light and preserve the natural finish.
• For outdoor use: Position pieces on solid, well-drained surfaces like patios or wooden decks. Avoid placing them directly on soil, and always use a furniture cover when not in use to protect from rain and moisture.

🧼 How to Keep It Clean

• Wipe with a soft cloth on a regular basis — dry or lightly damp is best.
• Skip the harsh stuff: no bleach, ammonia, or abrasive sprays. They can damage the protective layer and even the wood underneath.

💪 Use with Care

• Respect the load limits for each item — overloading may weaken the structure or shorten its lifespan.
• When moving your furniture, lift rather than slide to prevent scratches or stress on the joints.

🌬️ Guarding Against Moisture & Mildew

• Wipe away spills quickly to prevent water from seeping into the wood.
• If you're in a humid area, a small dehumidifier can help prevent mold and mildew buildup over time.
