Design & Style

The Aelimere introduces a distinctive desk silhouette to the Timberustic collection, balancing an irregular live edge top with two contrasting supports. On one side, a branching pedestal divides into rounded limbs and open negative spaces. On the other, a rectangular drawer pedestal creates a grounded architectural counterpoint.

The broad top spans both elements with softly rounded corners and a pronounced front edge. This asymmetrical arrangement gives the desk visual movement without interrupting the generous work surface, while the branching base remains visible from across the room.

Material & Craftsmanship

Aelimere is handcrafted and made to order, allowing its functional layout and expressive support structure to remain central to the design. The top displays long grain lines across its surface, while the front edge reveals denser, more varied figuring along the irregular contour.

Wood grain also continues across the drawer fronts, pedestal sides and branching support. Rounded transitions soften the open base, while framed drawer faces and small round pulls bring definition to the storage pedestal. Custom sizing is available to adapt the desk to different workspace plans.

Function & Features

• Broad work surface suited to writing, computer use and creative projects
• Three stacked drawers provide organized storage for everyday office items
• Open branching support preserves legroom while giving the desk a distinctive profile
• Contrasting pedestal forms create support at both ends of the desktop

The combined worktop and drawer storage make Aelimere a practical focal point for a dedicated workspace.

Usage & Placement

Place Aelimere in a home office where the branching side can remain visible from the doorway, or use it in a creative studio with the drawer pedestal positioned for convenient access. Its finished profile also suits an open-plan living area where the desk may be viewed from more than one direction.

A restrained task lamp, desk tray and a small group of ceramic objects can complement the visible grain without obscuring the desktop. Leave some visual space around the branching pedestal so its open structure remains part of the room composition.

🌿 Where to Place It

• For indoor use: Set your furniture on a flat, dry floor away from direct sunlight, heaters, or overly humid spots. Use blinds or curtains to gently filter light and preserve the natural finish.
• For outdoor use: Position pieces on solid, well-drained surfaces like patios or wooden decks. Avoid placing them directly on soil, and always use a furniture cover when not in use to protect from rain and moisture.

🧼 How to Keep It Clean

• Wipe with a soft cloth on a regular basis — dry or lightly damp is best.
• Skip the harsh stuff: no bleach, ammonia, or abrasive sprays. They can damage the protective layer and even the wood underneath.

💪 Use with Care

• Respect the load limits for each item — overloading may weaken the structure or shorten its lifespan.
• When moving your furniture, lift rather than slide to prevent scratches or stress on the joints.

🌬️ Guarding Against Moisture & Mildew

• Wipe away spills quickly to prevent water from seeping into the wood.
• If you're in a humid area, a small dehumidifier can help prevent mold and mildew buildup over time.
