Design & Style

The Aelarien Vessel Sinks join Timberustic’s collection with a broad fan-shell silhouette and pronounced three-dimensional shaping. Deep ridges radiate outward from the basin, spreading across the raised rear rim before ending in a softly rippled perimeter. A lowered front lip contrasts with the taller back, giving the sink an open, directional profile.

Its asymmetrical bowl rests within the larger shell form rather than following a conventional oval outline. This contrast between the smooth basin and strongly ridged surround gives Aelarien a distinctive presence while keeping the washing area visually clear.

Material & Craftsmanship

Visible wood grain travels across the bowl, rim and radiating channels, emphasizing the transition from the rounded interior to the fan-shaped outer surface. Grain movement varies across the curved areas, while the raised channels catch light differently from the recessed lines between them.

Aelarien is handcrafted and made to order as part of Timberustic’s custom collection. The deeply formed ridges, undulating edge and sweeping basin demonstrate careful attention to the sink’s three-dimensional shape. Custom sizing allows the design to be adapted to the intended vanity arrangement.

Function & Features

• Above-counter vessel format creates a clearly defined washing area.
• Rounded interior basin leads toward a visible drain opening in the basin floor.
• Raised fan-shaped rear rim and lowered front lip establish an accessible directional profile.
• Made-to-order production supports custom sizing for the planned vanity surface.

The surrounding ridges extend the design beyond the bowl without obscuring its primary function.

Usage & Placement

Aelarien is suited to a bathroom vanity or powder-room countertop where its full fan-shaped outline can remain visible. A broad counter surface gives the radiating rim room to extend, while a simple wall-mounted or deck-mounted faucet can keep attention on the basin’s sculpted geometry.

Pair it with restrained stone, plaster-textured surfaces or a clean-lined vanity to contrast the expressive shell form. Dark fixtures can create sharp definition around the grain, while quieter neutral surroundings allow the ridged silhouette and curved bowl to become the central feature.

🌿 Where to Place It

• For indoor use: Set your furniture on a flat, dry floor away from direct sunlight, heaters, or overly humid spots. Use blinds or curtains to gently filter light and preserve the natural finish.
• For outdoor use: Position pieces on solid, well-drained surfaces like patios or wooden decks. Avoid placing them directly on soil, and always use a furniture cover when not in use to protect from rain and moisture.

🧼 How to Keep It Clean

• Wipe with a soft cloth on a regular basis — dry or lightly damp is best.
• Skip the harsh stuff: no bleach, ammonia, or abrasive sprays. They can damage the protective layer and even the wood underneath.

💪 Use with Care

• Respect the load limits for each item — overloading may weaken the structure or shorten its lifespan.
• When moving your furniture, lift rather than slide to prevent scratches or stress on the joints.

🌬️ Guarding Against Moisture & Mildew

• Wipe away spills quickly to prevent water from seeping into the wood.
• If you're in a humid area, a small dehumidifier can help prevent mold and mildew buildup over time.
