Design & Style

Aelarell, part of Timberustic’s made-to-order collection, is defined by a sweeping desktop that extends into a broad, rounded return. A deep inward curve connects the two working zones, giving the desk an asymmetrical profile while keeping the transition visually fluid. The contrasting base combines a substantial three-drawer pedestal on one side with open, branching supports beneath the return.

The branching legs cross and divide into angled members, creating generous open space below the rounded end. Paired with the grounded drawer pedestal, this lighter framework gives the desk a balanced composition that changes character from each viewing angle.

Material & Craftsmanship

Expressive wood grain travels across the desktop, drawer fronts, pedestal sides and shaped supports. Long linear markings emphasize the main work surface, while broader swirling patterns bring depth to the rounded return and individual drawer faces. The softly rounded perimeter follows the desk’s curves and gives the substantial top a smoother visual transition.

Each Aelarell desk is handcrafted and made to order by Timberustic. Custom sizing allows the proportions of the desktop, return and storage pedestal to be adapted for the intended workspace while retaining the design’s defining arrangement.

Function & Features

• Broad primary surface provides room for computer work, writing and everyday office tasks.
• Rounded return creates an adjacent area for documents, books or project materials.
• Three stacked drawers keep smaller work essentials organized within reach.
• Open branching supports preserve legroom beneath the extended side.

The mixed pedestal-and-frame base combines accessible storage with an open working area.

Usage & Placement

Aelarell is suited to a dedicated home office, design studio or spacious study where its curved outline can remain visible. Positioning the rounded return toward the room creates an inviting workstation, while placing the drawer pedestal nearer a wall keeps storage conveniently anchored to one side.

The grain-rich surfaces pair naturally with restrained wall colors, slatted panels and simple task lighting. Allowing clear floor space around the branching base helps its angled structure remain part of the room’s composition rather than disappearing beneath surrounding furniture.

🌿 Where to Place It

• For indoor use: Set your furniture on a flat, dry floor away from direct sunlight, heaters, or overly humid spots. Use blinds or curtains to gently filter light and preserve the natural finish.
• For outdoor use: Position pieces on solid, well-drained surfaces like patios or wooden decks. Avoid placing them directly on soil, and always use a furniture cover when not in use to protect from rain and moisture.

🧼 How to Keep It Clean

• Wipe with a soft cloth on a regular basis — dry or lightly damp is best.
• Skip the harsh stuff: no bleach, ammonia, or abrasive sprays. They can damage the protective layer and even the wood underneath.

💪 Use with Care

• Respect the load limits for each item — overloading may weaken the structure or shorten its lifespan.
• When moving your furniture, lift rather than slide to prevent scratches or stress on the joints.

🌬️ Guarding Against Moisture & Mildew

• Wipe away spills quickly to prevent water from seeping into the wood.
• If you're in a humid area, a small dehumidifier can help prevent mold and mildew buildup over time.
