This guide helps you choose the correct size depending on what you are ordering: Headboard only, Bed Frame only, or Headboard & Bed Frame set.
All listed sizes are reference sizes for standard US mattress sizes. Custom sizing is always available if needed.
1️⃣ If you are ordering Headboard only
Simply choose the headboard size that matches your mattress size.
Recommended Headboard Sizes
- 54″W × 30″H × 2″T → Full
- 60″W × 35″H × 2″T → Queen
- 66″W × 40″H × 2″T → Queen (taller statement look)
- 72″W × 45″H × 3″T → King
- 76″W × 50″H × 3″T → King (taller statement look)
- 84″W × 55″H × 3″T → California King / oversized wall look
Fit note:
These sizes are designed to visually align with standard bed widths.
If you want a wider or taller headboard for a more dramatic wall statement, you can choose a larger option or select Custom Size.
2️⃣ If you are ordering Bed Frame only
Just select the bed frame size that matches your mattress size.

Some bed frame designs (like the product image shown) feature a floating or sculptural wood base that extends beyond the mattress on each side.
- The mattress will sit inside the wood structure.
- The wood frame typically extends about 4–5 inches per side.

The bed frame sizing works exactly the same as above.
However, for the headboard, please note:
- You must choose the headboard width based on the FINAL extended width of the bed frame, not just the mattress size.
- In some designs, the headboard may extend wider than the bed frame for a sculptural or architectural look.
