Design & Style

Aelilora joins the Timberustic collection with a broad live edge desktop balanced between two contrasting supports. One end descends into a substantial curved waterfall form, while the opposite end rests on a rectangular storage pedestal. The pairing gives the desk an asymmetrical architectural profile without interrupting the open seating area.

A gently rounded outer corner softens the expansive top, while the irregular front edge introduces a more varied contour. The storage pedestal’s clean geometry provides a counterpoint to the sweeping curve of the waterfall support, allowing the desk to feel composed from both the working side and across the room.

Material & Craftsmanship

Pronounced grain patterns travel across the desktop, drawer fronts, cabinet door, and curved support. Tonal variation and figured markings bring visual depth to the broad surfaces, while the live edge retains an irregular line along the working top.

The handcrafted construction is expressed most clearly in the transition from the desktop to the rounded waterfall support. Aelilora is made to order by Timberustic, with custom sizing available to suit the intended workspace and room proportions.

Function & Features

• Broad desktop provides room for a laptop, writing materials, and everyday desk accessories.
• Three stacked drawers organize smaller office supplies and personal items.
• Tall cabinet section offers enclosed storage for larger workspace essentials.
• Open knee space keeps the principal working area clear.
• Waterfall support and storage pedestal create a freestanding, visually balanced structure.

The combined drawer and cabinet arrangement keeps storage concentrated at one end of the desk.

Usage & Placement

Aelilora is suited to a dedicated home office, creative studio, or professional workspace where both storage and a substantial work surface are priorities. Position it centrally to keep the curved support visible, or place the storage end near a wall for convenient access to documents and supplies.

A focused desk lamp, restrained organizer, and upholstered task chair can complement the warm grain without obscuring the live edge. Its combination of flowing and rectilinear forms works especially well in rooms that balance architectural lines with tactile materials.

🌿 Where to Place It

• For indoor use: Set your furniture on a flat, dry floor away from direct sunlight, heaters, or overly humid spots. Use blinds or curtains to gently filter light and preserve the natural finish.
• For outdoor use: Position pieces on solid, well-drained surfaces like patios or wooden decks. Avoid placing them directly on soil, and always use a furniture cover when not in use to protect from rain and moisture.

🧼 How to Keep It Clean

• Wipe with a soft cloth on a regular basis — dry or lightly damp is best.
• Skip the harsh stuff: no bleach, ammonia, or abrasive sprays. They can damage the protective layer and even the wood underneath.

💪 Use with Care

• Respect the load limits for each item — overloading may weaken the structure or shorten its lifespan.
• When moving your furniture, lift rather than slide to prevent scratches or stress on the joints.

🌬️ Guarding Against Moisture & Mildew

• Wipe away spills quickly to prevent water from seeping into the wood.
• If you're in a humid area, a small dehumidifier can help prevent mold and mildew buildup over time.
